Everyone slept well or at least that's their story.
By 6:30 people started gathering in the dining area. Some had taken showers and we were enjoying Bob Easter's coffee.
At 7:15 Jeremy and Erin arrived after their long adventure. They finally got out of San Francisco and United paid for their $250 cab ride from Houston to Orange.
The plan for today is to eat and continental breakfast and head to church at 9. We have a lunch plan that we have to get to at 11:30 then we are going to tour the Galveston area and some of the hurricane damage. Supposedly Stuart has found another great restaurant for dinner, a Cajun place about 15 miles back toward Houston.
Gary and Peggy should be in later this morning.
Pray for God's rich mercy upon us today.
At a little past nine we headed over to the main church called Community Church. It was an Assembly of God church but they changed their name to better serve the community.
One of the assistant pastors came up to greet us and that the service would be an "illustrated sermon." Notice the big throne at the center of the stage.
I think you guys have gone to TX just to eat!! HA! Just kidding... I can see this will be a great feast at the table of the Lamb as He serves through you all while also molding each of you to be more and more like Him. To God be the glory! Great things He will do!!
